let the games begin! as promised, i have STACKS of fabric set aside to hand out. i tried to organize it in some way today, and it looks like i have enough to post for several days. my plan is to just keep the giveaways posted until all the stacks are up for grabs, then i will announce the winners all at once and ship all at once to save myself some trips to the post office, in roughly one week. when i get to the last stack, i will notify in the post how long you have to leave a comment before the giveaways close. the only other rules are as follows:
you guys would be proud of me…over the past week or so, i have been devoting maybe half of my sewing time to art fair inventory. it’s creating an irrational fear that if i spend so much time making pouches and bags, i won’t have anything to blog about. but in fact, there’s no reason i can’t also share those projects with you (and maybe you’re sick of seeing my squinty face in a new dress every week anyway), and my self sewing fever hasn’t fully subsided, so i’m accumulating a steady backlog of projects. so today, squinty face in a new dress it is. i’m sorry; there are no clouds in this part of the country. you guys, i almost forgot about geranium week. i’m obviously so invested in my own series. but…i did my skirt post yesterday and our family is on a trip right now in santa cruz (beautiful), and i’m currently trying to wrap my mind around how i might quilt my biggest ever project while sitting on the floor in front of a knee height coffee table, since that’s the only table where we’re staying. but i transported my entire sewing room here, so I WILL BE SEWING, even if i permanently hunch my spine in the process. i’ll let you know how that goes. in the meantime, on with the geraniums! just look at this kid. i’m trying to figure out whether it’s possible to go head over heels from him *just* from pictures, without witnessing the little magical elf trounce around in person. i don’t know, what do you think? at least you must be gaining an appreciation for his keen eye for fashion. i digress.
